About the Product:
A deep-penetrating replenishing skin repair cream for dry patches of skin and for added winter protection. Ideal for skin that is dry, flaky and in need of extra care.
Made with organic sunflower seed oil, and extracts of wild pansy, chamomile, calendula and revitalising rosemary extract to perk up tired skin, it is a great rescue remedy for lack-lustre or generally undernourished complexions.
Skin Food is delicately fragranced with refreshing essential oils including sweet orange and lavandulae and is the natural choice for everyday care of the face and body.
It can be used as a protective cream in harsh weather and is excellent for anyone regularly out of doors.

How to Use:
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard working, dry hands: apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.
Awards & Press Coverage:
Health & Beauty Magazine, September 2010. Feature: Festival chic. What they say? Weleda Skin Food. No handbag (or rucksack!) is complete without this multi-tasking cream. Great for dry lips, elbows and knees, you can even use this celeb favourite as an emergency face mask, on cuticles, or to thin out potent fake tan! If it’s good enough for Alexa Chung, it’s good enough for us.
Woman’s Own, 2 August 2010. Feature: Good Health. Did you know? What they say? As well as being itchy, dry skin on the lower legs means nutrients from the blood aren’t reaching the skin. The dryer the skin, the weaker the protective barrier – healing is slower and the risk of infection greater. The fix? Use a rich cream such as the award-winning Weleda Skin Food a favourite with models such as Erin O’Connor.
Natural Lifestyle, July 2010. Feature: Beauty focus. Welcome to a brand new feature in Natural Lifestyle, bringing you the latest goodies from the natural and organic beauty world. Whether it’s tips on summer make-up, or ways to cut your chemical load, each month we bring you some fantastic ideas. What they say? Beauty Must-Have. If you’re off on holiday, don’t forget to pack the ever-versatile Skin Food. It’s no surprise this cult beauty product is loved by celebrities and supermodels alike, as it can be used on everything from dry hands and feet to chapped lips and is a great face moisturiser.
