A herbal elixir combing the expectorant properties of Thyme, Aniseed and Horehound with the demulcent properties of Marshmallow root. This effective combination is complimented by soothing Honey to aid a tickly cough.

This wonderful Herb & Honey Cough Elixir combines herbal ingredients with a comforting honey syrup to soothe dry and irritating coughs. Alongside thyme, aniseed, horehound and marshmallow root, it also includes Iceland moss which is traditionally used for its demulcent properties, and elderflower for anti-catarrhal action. Although not flavoured with artificial sweeteners or synthetic flavourings, this natural elixir is still quite pleasant to take, either straight from the bottle using a measuring spoon, or in a little water if you’re feeling fragile and chilly. This product is suitable for children over 6, but not suitable for diabetics.

Constituents: Each 5ml dose contains: Active ingredients:

Aqueous extract from: Althaea office., Rad. (81.5mg) Cetraria islandicus (81.5mg), Marrubium vulgare, Herb (81.5mg), Pimpinella anisum (81.5mg), Sambucus nigra, Flos (81.5mg), Thymus vulgaris (81.5mg).

Other ingredients: Honey (1.90g), Sugar (1.25g), Glycerol (0.63g), Citric Acid (31.30mg).

How to Use: Adults and children 12 and over: Two 5ml teaspoons (10ml) undiluted, or in a little water, every 3-4 hours, up to 4 doses daily. Children: (6 to 12 years) half adult dose; (under 6 years) to be used under the guidance of a medical practitioner. ALWAYS READ THE LABEL
