How to Use:
Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Oil can be used on its own to provide basic care for sensitive skin or to protect the skin from the elements during the day. Spread several drops in the hand and then apply gently to cleansed, moist skin.
To remove eye make-up apply a few drops to a moist cotton wool pad and gently stroke over the eye area. To regenerate extremely dry skin during the night, gently massage a small amount into the skin using the fingertips. This is particularly effective on sensitive skin areas which are prone to development of wrinkles such as eye lids, neck and décolletage.
Tip: Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Oil can be combined with Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Cream to make an extra-rich treatment. Mix a small amount of the cream and oil in the palm of the hand and apply gently to face, neck and décolletage.

The Independent Newspaper, 5 February 2012. Feature: How to be beautiful. What they say? #13 Cleansing with oils. The way we do our hair or make-up alters regularly, but it’s unlikely that the stuff in our make-up bag mutates so conspicuously. Cosmetic colours vary, formulas improve, but – generally speaking – the products themselves remain the same. The appearance of a new one is, then, pretty remarkable. Not that these is anything novel about what’s in the bottle – oils have been around as long as life itself. But cleansing skin and hair with them feels like a radical development, or here in the West anyway. Other cultures have never forgotten their gentle, balancing benefits (in Japan and India, for example, they’re the norm), but oil of all kinds has long hovered on the border of our distaste – one of cleansing’s aims being precisely to eliminate it. Beauty’s current flirtation with oils may be part of a broader shift in sensibility. Just as the fat-free dietary ideal of the past few decades has waned in recognition of nourishing, ‘good’ fats, we’re accepting the wisdom of feeding skin with what it naturally contains. Daily Mail Newspaper, 23 January 2012. Feature: Skincare gets slick. Forget creams! Ultra-nourishing oils are the latest wonder products – even if you’ve got spotty skin. By Anjana Gosai. What they say? Using oils in our beauty regime is commonly thought to do more harm than good. If spots or greasy hair are a concern, slathering on a rich, pore-clogging oil is the last thing you’d think of doing. But oils are naturally brimming with vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids that can provide us with a multitude of cosmetic benefits. Even celebrities are oiling up – Hollywood actress Emma Stone recently credited her flawless skin to regular use of grape seed. Different oils possess unique cosmetic properties. For hydration, try a nurturing nut or seed oil like Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Oil. Almond and plum kernel oils boost the skin’s barrier, and help it keep the moisture in.
Review:
. . .my skin loves the Almond Facial Oil. I have fewer spots breaking out finally (aged 37!). Previously I’d buy natural products (not very!) for oily skin, which made matters worse. Surprisingly, adding almond oil has rebalanced it to a happy, healthy glow.

I absolutely love Weleda Almond Facial Oil, it is my dry skin saviour this time of year! I only need to use a few drops (under my Weleda Skin Food moisturiser!!) and it leaves my face feeling so soft. I also have very sensitive skin so I am a massive fan of Weleda products as they are fragrance free and high in natural antioxidants. Almond Oil is incredibly soothing when your face becomes red and irritated from the cold.
