Many of us find we are living very busy lives, thinking about the past and the future and are not fully aware of what is happening in the here and now. But how can we slow down? Mindfulness meditation can help when demands are high and our reserves are low. The essence of mindfulness is a compassionate acceptance of things being as they are at this very moment. Practising mindfulness encourages to pause and make time for ourselves. Dr Nina Watson, clinical psychologist, massage therapist, mindfulness mediation teacher and Wellbeing Advisor, explains that the act of colouring as well as having a shower can be great mindful activities to choose and easily weaved into everyday life. Colour your senses, mindfully with this gift of wellbeing - including a colouring-in book and a selection of five 50ml tubes of Weleda Creamy Body Washes.
The colouring book was commissioned from artist Lizzie Hobbs, a specialist in pattern-based art, originally from Derbyshire. Her artwork is inspired by designs found in Asia and the Middle East. After graduating recently in South Asian Studies and Hindi from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, Lizzie began working with Weleda on beautiful pages each inspired by the botanicals and key ingredients found in Weleda’s ranges. There are twelve pages to colour in, taking you through the calendar year.
