Weleda’s Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream has won a prestigious Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible Award

The latest addition to the Bible series by Jo Fairley and Sarah Stacey, is the ‘ultimate guide to growing older gorgeously’. This tell-it-like-it-is guide details a whole store full of products that really work, tried and tested by 2,400 real women all aged over 35 and many well into their 50s and 60s, so that (as Jo and Sarah tell us) ‘you no longer need to waste money to find the products that truly deliver’. Great news at a time when we are all watching the pennies.

There are over 40 chapters of advice from beauty experts and classic beauties such as actress Susan Sarandon, and original supermodels Christy Turlington and Joanna Lumley. Beautiful photographs and inspirational quotes - such as Marie Helvin’s ‘Don’t hold on to anger or regrets, it’s ageing’ - add coffee table glamour. Sarah herself is in her 60s and is a great ambassador - she clearly follows her own advice.

Pomegranates star in Weleda’s relatively new anti-ageing bodycare collection, including this ‘intensive care’ hand cream, which is based on the oil of that famously antioxidant fruit together with lashings of shea butter, avocado oil and olive oil. (Don’t run away with the idea that it’s greasy – although personally, we do like this best for pre-bedtime slathering).
