CUSTOMER SALES OPERATIVE

(Short Term Contract)

Based at our modern, open-plan offices in Ilkeston, you will be required to deliver positive customer service experience through prompt, effective and professional management of orders and enquiries. Along with maximising sales opportunities with existing customers, there will be an element of cold-calling as well as increasing brand awareness in-store, merchandising support, customer visits and staff training.

The key attributes we are looking for are:

•  Previous telesales/customer service experience

•  Professional telephone manner with excellent communication and listening skills

•  High quality performance and focussed on hitting targets

•  An outgoing nature with a confident and friendly personality

•  Ability to prioritise and work well in a team, even when under pressure

•  An active interest in broadening own product knowledge

This is a varied role requiring flexibility, dedication and a ‘can do’ attitude. The position will be offered on a short-term contract, the duration of which will be up to twelve months. Hours of work will be 37.5 per week between Monday – Friday.
