Event and PR Co-ordinator

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the person appointed will be responsible for the planning and management of our regular internal and external events and co-ordination of all our PR

Key duties will include:
  • Managing internal and external events and shows to an agreed objective, budget and timescale
  • Represent Weleda at events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and above all, that Weleda is represented ‘on brand’
  • Liaison with PR agencies as well as internally communicating the PR activity in the form of reports, reviews and presentations
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Head of Marketing and other team members and assist in trade and consumer campaigns
  • Regular reporting and meetings with Key Stakeholder Management within the business
  • Provide cover for Marketing Co-Ordinator where needed to include, sampling, data entry and reporting

To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate your exceptional project management skills along with your ability to be highly organised, disciplined and skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously. A flexible ‘can-do’ attitude is therefore essential. You’ll also be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have the ability to pick things up quickly and work well as part of a team. You will have experience of budget management as well as being highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint and Excel. Ideally, you would already have a strong track record of managing events and are likely to have worked in a PR or marketing environment. Exceptional key stakeholder management skills and proven experience in this area is essential.

Ideally, the person appointed will have enthusiasm for all things natural and they will want to expand their knowledge of our ethical and sustainable company, including our vast range of products, all of which are 100% natural.

The position is offered on a full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, although we may consider part time hours. Nevertheless, a flexible approach to hours of work will be required as there may be a requirement to work some evenings and an occasional weekend and travel on company business will be required.
