This rich, creamy lotion keeps skin moisturised all day without clogging the pores, and is especially good as an intensive treatment for dry skin.

Weleda’s Mallow Body Lotion noticeably improves the smoothness and suppleness of the skin which is left feeling silky soft, with a sensuous sheen. It can also be used safely on the face, unlike many body lotions, and its creamy consistency means it is useful for removing makeup. Try it on dry patches on elbows and knees, on hands and nails, or for silky smooth legs after shaving or waxing. It also makes a great after sun lotion to soothe pink shoulders. A neat all-in-one product to pack in your bag for the gym or a weekend away when you are travelling light.

This body lotion is made from the mallow plant, or Malva sylvestris, prized since Roman times for its natural medicinal properties and known for its ability to soothe rough and dry skin. The name comes from the Latin malva, meaning soft and emollient. The mallow grows wild in dry meadows and pastures in the UK and other parts of Europe, and flowers from June through to September.

Directions for use: Gently smooth into skin.  Use daily or when required.  Ideally use after a bath or a shower.  Useful after shaving or waxing the legs.  Can be used to remove make-up.  Makes a pleasant hand care lotion.

Only use an amount which the skin can easily absorb, only a fine sheen should be left on the skin and this will be absorbed after a few minutes.  Allow fifteen minutes after use before exposing the skin to direct sunlight. 

Use any time a rich moisturising lotion is required.
