Warnings and precautions
Read the patient information leaflet before use. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or to plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use in children under 6 years of age. If symptoms worsen, or persist or do not improve after seven days a doctor should be consulted. For short term use only. Use this medicine only on your skin. Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original container. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the carton and tube.
Area of application
Check that the tube seal is not broken before first use. Pierce the seal with point in end of cap. This product is only for application to the skin. Wash hands before and after use. Adults, the elderly and children over 6 years of age: Clean the affected area and apply directly or on a dry dressing two or three times daily. For short term use only.
Composition
1g of ointment contains the following active ingredient: 0.20ml tincture from Calendula officinalis L., herba (Calendula herb) (equivalent to 100mg of Calendula herb). Extraction solvent: Ethanol 86% w/w. Other ingredients: Wool Fat (Lanolin), Sunflower Oil, Olive Oil, Yellow Beeswax, Wool Alcohols, Ethanol and Purified Water. Suitable for vegetarians.
