Skin Food X Stella McCartney

Skin Food is the official skincare provider for Stella McCartney’s Paris Fashion Week shows in March and October, offering backstage prep and priming for models through a dedicated Skin Food Glow Studio. The partnership highlights the shared values of both brands: sustainability, quality and integrity. What are you waiting for? It's time to get model-like skin.

As the saying goes, “some marriages are made in heaven,” and the first phase of partnership between Skin Food and Stella McCartney felt beautifully aligned, not just aesthetically, but ethically. Rooted in cruelty-free principles, conscious sourcing and a deep respect for both nature and craftsmanship, the collaboration reflected a shared belief: true beauty is as responsible as it is radiant. Staged within an equestrian centre, with horses joining the models in the catwalk venue, the setting subtly echoed themes of harmony between humanity and the natural world.

Skin Food set up a Glow Studio backstage at the Stella McCartney Winter 2026 show in Paris, where the team expertly prepped models’ skin using signature products from the Skin Food range, ensuring they hit the runway with a coveted, lit-from-within radiance. The team also applied Skin Food Ultra Light Dry Oil to legs and arms, giving limbs a subtle, luminous sheen that provided a healthy-looking glow under the runway lights.

"Weleda is such a great brand that has always stayed committed to natural, ethical and sustainable values without chasing trends - I really respect that, and I love Skin Food. My brand has never wavered from our core principles - we’ve been free from leather, feathers, fur and exotic skins since day one. So, to align with another company that proves integrity can last is truly meaningful."

The Skin Food Glow Studio backstage ritual

Skin Food Nourishing Cleansing Balm; this nutrient-rich formula effortlessly removed traces of makeup and environmental impurities, while a gentle mini-massage awakened the skin, offering the models a moment of calm and respite backstage. Infused with signature botanicals, it created a serene, restorative ritual amid the pre-show bustle.
Skin Food Super Serum; a lightweight yet powerful serum, that deeply hydrates and strengthens the skin barrier, and can be used alone or as a key step within a complete skincare ritual. Backstage, the Super Serum was used to support the skin and provide a cushion for any follow-on product.
Skin Food Original; our “little green hero” was the ultimate glow giver backstage. Packed with organic, natural goodness, this face saving miracle prepped and primed the skin, ensuring a radiant, runway-ready finish.
Skin Food Light; this fast-absorbing, power-packed moisturiser was the perfect solution for those wanting all the glow without the weight. Like its Original sister, this was pressed gently on to the skin and allowed to breathe a little before makeup was applied.
Skin Food Glow Serum Drops; this clever glow-giving superstar fuses skin-loving natural ingredients with a dewy iridescence to create a transparent radiance that looks like your skin but better.  This was applied sparingly to the cheekbones.
Skin Food Ultra Light Dry Oil; the final touch for radiant, glowing limbs and the ideal companion for backstage dressing, the Ultra Light Dry Oil delivers instant hydration to parched skin. Fast absorbing and non-transferring, it’s a backstage essential, especially when working with delicate fabrics and rapid costume changes.

There’s a reason 99% of make-up artists recommend Skin Food - it’s the pro’s backstage essential. However you incorporate the iconic formula into your daily routine, whether that be the cult classic, Body Butter, Super Serum, Ultra-Light Dry Oil or even the latest innovation in Glow Serum Drops, naturally nourish dry skin and always be catwalk ready. Weleda; it's in the bag.
